Moving!

WHEW! Almost all the way moved in, one more truck full, maybe two, hope not though.

We started on April Fools Day! Yup! Nothing bad happened though, thank goodness. Hugo loves his new place and runs all around, getting into things and causing trouble just like puppies do.

We've been moving everything ourselves. Since our apartment was just down the road a bit, I figured it was more cost effective to go that route than rent a U-Haul, especially since I am the one who has done most of the packing and will be doing most of the unpacking. I like to bring the stuff, go through it and get rid of it again if its not needed. However, it didn't work out that way Dad, Bro and Kraig just piled everything in the garage and now I am sorting it there. I am planning on having a small garage sale to get rid of stuff I know I don't use, need or want any more. What ever is left after that I will donate! It will feel so good to get rid of stuff!

My dad and brother came down yesterday afternoon to give us a helping hand, and they left again today. Unfortunately I didn't get to see them as long as I wanted but it was nice to see them anyways.

Tomorrow Kraig is going to get our washer and dryer from his parents, cancel the other fridge and get a different one, that has an ice maker and matches the kitchen. Men! Don't they think of these things?

During this move process I realized its the third time I have moved in a Year! Last year this time I was packing up and moving to Bakersfield, then in November I moved to Fresno and now I am moving from apartment to house. I must say though we are very happy that we live here now rather than our apartment. We have to be out of there on the 9th...Plenty of time to get things straightened out and cleaned up! Hopefully we will be able to make this a permanent home for a while...its got all new paint, Berber carpet, antique handles throughout the home on all the doors. Double paned windows. Solar Power, Front Yard Landscaping service, Stainless Steel appliances and Granite counters. Not to mention it seems like my landlords are really cool! They don't really care about pets, we had a small deposit that's it!

I am looking forward to the future we will have here, and I am even more excited about all the plans we have for the back yard!
